25 Most Photographed Cities in Europe

A majority of the world’s visitors visit Europe, despite the fact that it is the second-smallest continent. Seven of the top 10 most visited countries are located in Europe. It’s not hard to understand why; European countries have a wealth of attractions and a large tourist population because of their protected cultural legacy, rich history, safety, and well-developed infrastructure.

In which European cities do people take the most photographs? Sightsmap.com was used to get the solution to this query. Tanel Tammet, Professor of computer science, developed Sightsmap, an application that plots Panoramio photos from all around the globe on an interactive map. According to the produced heatmap, these are the top European cities for photography:

25. Dublin

Dublin, the capital of Ireland, is rather sizable considering the nation has just around two million residents. Dublin has a rich history dating back a thousand years, and it is also a thriving contemporary port.

24. Valencia

Valencia, on the Mediterranean, is one of the biggest and most significant cities in Spain. Major building and redevelopment in Valencia have resulted in the city’s two most well-known attractions: the Fallas Festival and the City of Arts and Sciences.

23. San Sebastian

Northern Spain’s Basque region is home to San Sebastian, a port city on the Bay of Biscay. This picturesque port is renowned for its delectable cuisine and relaxing beaches.

22. Fira
